Kilcoskan NS sees parents as the primary educators of their children. Kilcoskan NS has an active Parents' Association which meets regularly. All parents/ guardians of children enrolled in the school automatically become members of the Kilcoskan NS Parents Association. The Kilcoskan NS Parents Association Committee is elected annually during the first term.

The Parents Association works with the Principal, staff and the Board of Management of Kilcoskan NS on an ongoing basis throughout the school year. The Kilcoskan NS Board of Management acknowledge that parents / guardians as a group have a wide range of talents, abilities and skills that have the potential to enrich and extend the educational opportunities provided for pupils within school. Our Parents Association reflects these talents and abilities very well, as evidenced by the many great projects and initiatives which the Association has been involved in over the years.
