As part of our science classes this week we were researching how birds make their nests. We then planned how we would create a nest ourselves. Then using materials that the birds would use (branches, leaves and moss) we experimented with creating our own nest. We then tested its’ strength by placing an “egg” (golf ball) in our nest.
It was tricky but we had lots of fun. We were in awe of how amazing birds are at creating their nests with only their beaks!
