It was Halloween dressed up day today. We also had a mini talent show in our classroom today. After that we got to go to the spooky house run by 5th and 6th class.
We did a bit of Halloween themed baking today. We made chocolate covered apples. They were a yummy special treat. We wrote out the recipe afterwards so we can try and make them at home.
We are super excited for Halloween in 1st and 2nd. We started to make some Halloween themed art today. Using egg boxes kindly brought in by the kids in the class we created lots of different spooky characters. We made bat's, monsters, pumpkins, ghosts and witches. Check back to see the finished project. When we add on eyes and legs when the paint has dried.
Bats galore! Using cotton buds we painted around the bat templates. Then we took off the bats and saw all the beautiful colours.
